| I wish I'd saved a printscreen last year, as someone sold a trunk from the 20's or 30's that appeared to have been haunted. There are always haunted auctions on Ebay. Personally, I get a kick out of them. Someone might sell an item for slightly more money because it's got a case of the heebie-jeebies, and then the item might really be funked. Who knows. There always seems to be haunted or possessed dolls for sale. That's only one step below haunted clowns for creepy. Well, this haunted trunk seemed like a normal, rectangular travelling trunk from the beginning of the last century, leather, possibly, with metal borders and corners. And it was full of bullet holes. Full of them. The story went that someone might have been shot in the trunk. The seller's mother didn't like the trunk, and I seem to remember them placing it in the attic because it "made noise" or something. I wish I could remember more. Did things placed on top of it fall off? Getting a better look at the thing, it appeared to me that there was staining on it under the bullet holes. Gruesome, possibly. Well, who knows? For kicks, I emailed the seller and asked her what happened if she were to leave a glass of holy water on the top of it overnight. She immediately mailed me back saying she'd never thought of it. I wish I knew who bought it. Has anyone else perused the "possessed" or "haunted" or "evil" auctions late at night with the lights out?

No, but that sounds like fun. Good tale, btw. Post more if you find 'em. You know most of those things are bunk...yet you have to wonder, would you want it brought into your house?
