Trust me, I'd like to but there are a couple of reasons why I won't. For one, even if they're using a credit card buyers want to use paypal. Many people feel comfortable giving their CC# to paypal but are nervous providing it at a merchant check out. Go figure.
Also, some people will use paypal but use sources of funding other than a CC. Some want to use money they already have in their paypal account without going to the CC, while others want to use the bank draft option.
If everyone paid by CC and had no problem providing that info at checkout, I'd drop paypal like a bad habit. Unfortunately, they kind of hold the monopoly over my customers' preferred buying option.
