There are always haunted auctions on Ebay. Personally, I get a kick out of them. Someone might sell an item for slightly more money because it's got a case of the heebie-jeebies, and then the item might really be funked. Who knows.

There always seems to be haunted or possessed dolls for sale. That's only one step below haunted clowns for creepy.

Well, this haunted trunk seemed like a normal, rectangular travelling trunk from the beginning of the last century, leather, possibly, with metal borders and corners. And it was full of bullet holes. Full of them.

The story went that someone might have been shot in the trunk. The seller's mother didn't like the trunk, and I seem to remember them placing it in the attic because it "made noise" or something. I wish I could remember more. Did things placed on top of it fall off? Getting a better look at the thing, it appeared to me that there was staining on it under the bullet holes. Gruesome, possibly. Well, who knows?

For kicks, I emailed the seller and asked her what happened if she were to leave a glass of holy water on the top of it overnight. She immediately mailed me back saying she'd never thought of it.

I wish I knew who bought it.

Has anyone else perused the "possessed" or "haunted" or "evil" auctions late at night with the lights out?:w00t:

I Wonder if He Uses Sprint.

This is funny to me.
receive a phone call from satan

40k for Butterfly name

It's goofy, but This one's kinda cute
http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/science/11/23/butterfly.name.ap/index.html

mummified penis from an extinct species of Walrus

mummified penis from an extinct species of Walrus.
Sooner or later Meg sticks all ebayers up the Butt hole with this:)

Che Guevara Hair Lock to Be Auctioned

Bidding starts at $100k for a 3-inch lock of hair from Ernesto "Che" Guevara, the Marxist revolutionary whose visage has become a hot t-shirt item since he was slain in a South American jungle four decades ago.

jesus face on wood pot

Jesus face on wood pot.........lol,lol,lol

.

Jesus Seashell

Here we go again whith the jesus crap:D

Hollywood Star Trash

Want Paris Hilton's empty prescription bottle or Britney's used Q-Tip?

Bid away, loser! :P

Jerry Falwell Merch Hits eBay

"I feel like he was very strong with the American culture, in fact he was one of the best," said David Campbell, curator of the Jerry Falwell Museum. Often in very small print it will say something to the affect of, "this auction is for the item listed, anything you receive in addition to this item listed is my gift to you."

In other words, something else is being sold, and the buyers tend to know what it is. Furthermore, notice that most of the people that regularly sell goofy items have high feedback scores.

$5,000 for a baseball hat?

Just because some lady on the internet says it was born by a football player...

http://www.aolsportsblog.com/2007/04/23/brian-urlachers-vitamin-water-hat-on-ebay/

Bidders Price Her Life at $880

Remember that Minnesota Woman, Lisa Perry, who was trying to sell all of her possessions on eBay to start over?
http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=3021720
Well, it turns out the top bid she got for everything she owns was $880 (with a $2,000 reserve).

---------------------
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Things did not work out as planned for a St. Paul woman who, wanting a fresh start, sought to sell nearly all her possessions on eBay.

Lisa Perry, 45, had hoped to sell everything in one huge auction. She had said she wanted a fresh start, and was embracing the Buddhist principles of "releasing attachment to things."

Bidding this week on eBay topped out at $880, well under her $2,000 reserve. So, she decided to break up 300-plus items into smaller lots and try selling her possessions on eBay and on Craigslist.

Perry had received a high bid of $2,325. She updated her auction Web page to say she would give proceeds over her reserve to the family of a fallen soldier. But eBay frowns on charity auctions, and pulled her sale with two days left to go.

She put the sale back up, but then the bidding topped out at $880.

She says she still wants to get rid of her things and head west with her dog and cat.

What's the wackiest thing you've ever tried to sell?

I tried to sell a Coke can that was sealed but had nothing in it...until I realized there were LOTS of such sealed-yet-empty cans on eBay (most offered for about a buck).
