I'm a moderator at this site, an active part of this small community, and having been scammed in the past, I take interest in helping out other people that have had the same issues as I have.
The founder of this site started it up after having a raw deal on ebay himself, hence providing a resource for people that have been victims of these scenarios. His book talks specifically about instances where people were scammed.
What is completely ignorant on your part is to come to this site, on these forums, give a bullshit story, and then tell the people that respond to you and have helped people recover literally tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue to "get a life" or ask why they are concerned about the issue. Are you stupid or something?
Having said that, when someone posts dissatisfaction with a transaction, we don't just take their word for it. Very often the people that come here are in the wrong, and in some instances are the rip-off artists themselves. So yes, we do evaluate claims, and more importantly, we expect empirical evidence backing up those claims, something that you have not provided at all.
As for the paypal thing, I have already posted an alternative to this, which is the almighty chargeback.
If you are really ignorant enough to think that I'm Amanda, here's what you do; go subpoena my information from the website. That way, you'll have exactly what you're looking for; Uhring's "information" that for some reason you seem to lack despite sending her thousands of dollars.

oh - i forgot to mention AMANDA HAS been shut down by eBay - she was closed down in June - give them a call and check since you do not seem to have much else to do wiht your time...
or list your phone number andI am sure that myself and all the others I am in contact with would be more than happy to give you a call.........
Wrong. Her username is still active and she even has a store.

ebay has not closed her down, she just doesn't have any items listed.
When someone is shut down, they are listed as "not a registered user". I'll give you an example. Go to the "community" tab at ebay.com and type in "pub" without the quotes. You'll enter some numbers and then get a list. Look at the first person on that list. Click their feedback score. THAT'S what a profile that has been closed looks like.
Compare that to Amanda's, it's not the same thing. There are many times when sellers (myself included) have no items for sale. This isn't the same thing. If she was closed down, her profile would look like pub's and it would say, "not a registered user" by her name. If it doesn't say that, then she is not shut down.
I don't think you're trying to waste time, but it's obvious you don't know what you're talking about.

You have been extremely rude and offensive - you have accused us of being liars, ignorant and stupid.
I find you to be offensive and the tone in which you write is very aggressive - your language leaves alot to be desired. We were not asking for your help you just took it upon yourself to respond in a rude menacing way. I cannot imagine anyone wanting your help as for the paypal thing - yes you have already posted an alternative to this, which is the almighty chargeback - ok we paid by e check.... .
and no i am not ignorant enough to think that you are Amanda - she never responded to any emails i sent - I do not have the time or the inclination to " go subpoena your information from the website. That way, you'll have exactly what you're looking for Uhring's "information" We have Amanda's telephone number and address which we have passed on to the detective in Michigan who is investigating this on our behalf. So please do us all a favour and butt out of this as it really is none of your business.

Hey- who thinks this person (if male) has some serious "male" issues if know what i mean. What is so funny about this- is that this person has no idea what we all went through.
Hey Dumb ***- we thought we DID have ebay numbers etc. because we USED her based on her GOOD FEEDBACK. Geez. Call Pay Pal- they even said they have a long list of people in our situation and only give money back AFTER the 45 days when it is serious. ALL her info is being gathered- your so funny.
I think what is most important is that I know who I am, I know the truth and don't have to prove it. SO- you can say whatever you want whenever you want and I will smile away knowing how wonderful it is to have confidence in my honesty and know that all wrong doings by others get what is coming.
Why don't we give Soc- Detective Durwicks phone number and/or send him a hard copy of each of our small claims court claims we are going to send her?
YOu are so funny- so sad you have to use such fowl language too.. it's just so funny- you must be a really odd person to get so nasty over something that is true. So strange. I hope whatever is eating you up inside is vented here with us in some strange way we can all end up helping you work out your problems.

Yep, and you're the one that sent money to someone you didn't even know, tried to do the deal outside of ebay, then had no idea how to get your money back, and when told, got all cry-baby on me because your stupidity was revealed.

Right, and going to your bank is the correct course of action. You can get a bank to reverse the charges.

No need. Just give me a cause # like I asked for. You won't, because you can't. You don't even have a cause #. Earlier, you're asking for her information, but now you just had it all the time and have already filed with the police and small claims? Then why ask for her information?

First, that you didn't even file the claim in a 45 day period over a several thousand dollar claim is error on nobody's part but your own - you're so funny. Second, I wonder why this scammer of thousands of dollars and a long list of people still has an active paypal and ebay account both in excellent standing, something that was proven to you already that you lied about as well.

You've got nothing but bullshit. You've proved nothing, and are probably the problem in the transaction.
Feel free to have the last word, because it will be, seeing that you're not going to get help from anyone here. That is, unless you create another login to perpetuate your pathetic, bullshit story.
