I'd really appreciate it if you all would take a quick look at:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=120279563926

and tell me if you think I got shill-scammed. This has me livid. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

EliteDealMaker

It's possible, but not obvious with this auction. A lot of early bids from the same people can be a sign, as the case is here. Many of them have high bid % with the seller in question. However, later in the game new folks come in with a minimal amount of bidding on this sellers items.

Also, most of the bidders are well established with lots of feedback transactions, not usually the mark of puppet accounts.

One thing I would recommend is not putting your maximum bid in a full 2 days before the auction ends. If there is shill bidding going on, then you're a sitting duck for it. Wait until the final minutes (maybe even seconds) of the auction before entering your maximum bid.

Having said that, you only paid a couple of bucks more than the same item that has the "buy it now" option in the same seller's store, so even if they were shilling you they got pretty much nothing out of it.
