You know what? I think it's working to drive business away from ebay.
How do I know? My amazon.com sales are absolutely explosive!!! I'm selling about $100 a day there now!

I've got yards and yards of thought about what eBay is doing. It boils down to being something that's never been before.
My hope is more folks actually learn how to shop, when an auction is one and when it's not, and where a good deal is one and when it's not.
Nothing really is ever about what we're capable of doing with it, but rather, how we actually use it. The very best design can actually be abused, ignored, screwed with, folded, mutilated and stapled. Worse thing is when it's ignored. By saying that, I'm NOT saying eBay is the best design.
With good hope, I'm headed to other sites but will keep my foot in the door at eBay. As the numbers fall this week, I'm certain that unless listings drop below the 10million floor, eBay will proceed with their new set of bizarre disadvantages and still remain the largest almost auction service online.
Meanwhile, for a real auction experience which most folks don't care to experience, I like OLA. OLA, not the gay thing, but the OnlineAuction.com service out of Grants Pass, OR. USA.
