| I've been buying and selling on eBay since 1996 - although I'm not a "pro" seller. Recently I gave up pipe smoking and put some nice pipes up for auction. One pipe, a very nice Dunhill in almost mint condition, I listed with a flat shipping rate of $10 for priority mail, signature confirm, and insurance. I'll be paying right at $10 to USPS for this package. Here's the stoopidest communication I have ever had regarding an eBay auction. This drooling moron - eBay ID "Aylmer Sales (aylmrg)" with a feedback of zero, just joined eBay, never won an auction - decided he needed to message me and deride me for gouging on shipping. I explained the costs, but I must have used words that were too big for him to understand. Here's his e-mail to me after I explain to him why the shipping is $10: From: likely2 [mailto:likely2@xxxxx.net] Sent: Tuesday, October 02, 2007 3:08 PM To: Wampum47 Subject: Re: Question about payment for item ####### you're funny. i had you pegged for the usual greedy, money grubbing, kike, but you're just the typical pipe smoking wussy who's also a social skill deprived computer nerd. that's a real manly combo there, timmy. suck a load out of my cock - gaywad. oh, and i just blocked your wimpy, simpering attention whore emails so I GET the last word - no matter what your email server tells you

Uncalled for, I'll agree with that.
I'd like to see your original email to him though. How about all of the correspondence you guys have had,not just the one where he explodes?

| The previous e-mail isn't very exciting, sorry. It's a dull decription of what shipping, insurance and signature confirm cost, and what can happen without those things. I assumed he was a valid buyer, but he turned out to just be a troll who wasn't even interested in the item, or any other item on eBay, just in speading stupidity.

Ok, well I think there is more to the story. You're resisting revealing the initial correspondence when it's quite obvious that more was said prior to this person getting out of line.
I don't buy it, especially considering that the guy is making reference to other conversations that you've had, in the very email that you've posted.

That's fine, you don't have to buy it. Is your eBay ID AYLMRG?

Let me get this straight... you sent the guy an email about shipping, and he responded by telling you to suck a load out of his cock? He then goes on to talk about another conversation you and he had... and you're telling us that it was boring, all about shipping and the usual, yet you don't want to produce it.
I call bullshit.
Now that you've changed your name and removed your picture from this site, it looks even more like you're not on the level here.
