| So for the first time ever, a japanese automaker (Toyota) has topped a U.S. automaker (GM) in sales. Will this affect what you buy? personally if I had the cash I'd buy a Hummer out of a show of support.

I just bought a pair of Oakley Gascan shades, just because they are made in the US...just felt right to do.

Hmm, I don't this is the first time for that. GM is a conglomerate of several companies. Are we to believe the Toyota hasn't outsold Buick before?
Seriously though, Toyota makes a better product, with a better warranty, for a cheaper price. How many up and coming American car companies have GM drove into the ground because they were more competitive. Now Toyota is more competitive. That's the way it goes.
